1. Use of the wellness area

• The wellness facilities may be used exclusively by guests staying at the Palatinus Grand Hotel.
• Guests use all wellness facilities entirely at their own risk.
• The wellness area is not under continuous staff supervision.
• The maximum simultaneous occupancy of the wellness area is 12 persons.

2. Health and safety requirements

• in the event of a fever or infectious illness,
• in the event of an infectious skin or gastrointestinal condition,
• by anyone with a condition involving seizures or loss of consciousness, or any condition that may endanger others,
• while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or sedative medication.

3. Hygiene rules

• Appropriate swimwear must be worn throughout the wellness area.
• Guests must shower before using the jacuzzi.
• Due to the risk of slipping, wearing non-slip pool sandals in the wellness area is strongly recommended.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the wellness area is in the shared interest of all guests.

4. Rules for children

• Children under 14 may use the wellness area only under the continuous supervision of a parent or another adult.
• Parents or accompanying adults are responsible for children’s safety at all times.

5. Conduct

• Every guest must respect the physical safety, comfort and personal space of others in the wellness area.
• To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the wellness area, please avoid loud conversations, shouting and other noise.
• Behaviour that disturbs other guests, is indecent or is contrary to generally accepted standards of conduct is prohibited.
• All guests must follow the instructions of the operator’s staff.
• The operator reserves the right to refuse entry or exclude from the wellness area any person whose health condition or behaviour endangers the safety or comfort of others, or who fails to comply with these rules.

6. Prohibited activities

• smoking or using electronic cigarettes,
• consuming alcohol or any other mind-altering substance,
• bringing in glass, porcelain or any other breakable items,
• bringing in pets (except assistance and guard dogs),
• using balls, diving equipment or any other item that may create an accident hazard,
• littering,
• misusing the wellness facilities or equipment.

7. Photography and video recording

• When taking photographs or videos in the wellness area, please respect the comfort and privacy rights of other guests.
• Taking identifiable photographs or recordings of other guests without their consent is not permitted.
• Photography must not interfere with the proper use of the wellness area.

8. Liability

• The operator accepts no responsibility for valuables left unattended in the wellness area or changing rooms.
• Found items should be handed in at the wellness reception or the hotel reception.
• Please report any accident or illness to a member of hotel staff immediately.
• Any person who intentionally or negligently damages the wellness facilities or equipment must compensate the operator for the damage caused.
• The operator accepts no liability for damage or accidents resulting from a breach of these rules, negligent conduct by a guest or failure to comply with applicable laws.

9. Final provisions

• In the event of a breach of these rules, the operator reserves the right to restrict or prohibit use of the wellness area.
• Any matters not covered by these rules are governed by the hotel’s general house rules and the applicable laws of Hungary.

1. Using the service

• Our wellness area offers only massages intended to support well-being and relaxation and to relieve musculoskeletal discomfort.
• Massage is not medical or therapeutic treatment and does not replace a medical examination or treatment.
• Massage services are available by advance appointment, which may be booked by telephone, online or in person.
• Please arrive at least 5–10 minutes before your appointment.
• If you arrive late, the duration of your treatment may be shortened by the length of the delay; the full service fee will still apply.
• For cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment or in the event of a no-show, the Palatinus Grand Hotel reserves the right to charge the full treatment fee.

2. Health requirements

• Treatment may begin only after the Pre-Massage Health Declaration and Contraindications Questionnaire has been completed fully and truthfully.
• During the consultation before treatment, guests must provide complete and accurate information in response to questions about their health.
• Health information provided will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
• Where certain contraindications are present, only a relaxation massage may be provided.
• If the consultation reveals a contraindication that prevents the treatment from being carried out safely, the service provider reserves the right to refuse treatment.
• We are currently unable to provide massage services to pregnant guests.
• The service provider accepts no liability for any consequences arising from health information that has been withheld or provided inaccurately.

3. During the treatment

• Guests are asked to maintain appropriate personal hygiene during treatment.
• No third party may be present in the treatment room. Guests under 18 are exempt from this rule and may receive treatment only in the presence of an accompanying adult.
• Massage treatments are provided strictly within professional boundaries at all times.
• Guests must behave respectfully towards the massage therapist and other guests.
• In the event of any offensive, harassing or inappropriate behaviour, or conduct that crosses professional boundaries, the treatment will be terminated immediately and the full service fee will be charged.
• The operator reserves the right to refuse service where justified by the guest’s health condition or behaviour.

4. Payment

• Payment is due after the treatment at the Palatinus Grand Hotel reception and may be made in cash or by bank card.
• The current price list is available at the hotel reception, the wellness reception and on the hotel’s online platforms.

5. Final provisions

• We welcome comments and feedback in person or in writing.
• Any matters not covered by these rules are governed by the Palatinus Grand Hotel’s general house rules and the applicable laws of Hungary.

Management of the Palatinus Grand Hotel

By using the sauna and steam room, guests agree to comply with the following rules. These rules are intended to ensure safe, hygienic and considerate use.

1. Use of the sauna and steam room

• The sauna and steam room may be used only by hotel guests who have access to the wellness area.
• Guests use the sauna and steam room entirely at their own risk.
• Guests must shower before using the sauna or steam room.
• In the sauna, guests must always sit or lie on a towel or sauna sheet. Sitting or lying directly on the benches is not permitted.
• Food and drinks may not be consumed in the sauna or steam room.
• The recommended duration of each sauna or steam room session is 8–15 minutes.
• After using the sauna, a cold or lukewarm shower is recommended, followed by 10–15 minutes of rest and adequate hydration.

3. Children

• Persons under 16 may use the sauna and steam room only under the supervision and responsibility of a parent or another adult.

• Pouring alcohol, concentrated essential oils or other flammable substances onto the sauna heater is strictly prohibited.
• Pouring a large amount of water onto the sauna stones at once (e.g. directly from a bucket) is prohibited.
• Equipment in the sauna and steam room must be used only for its intended purpose. Do not touch the heating equipment or other technical components.
• Guests must respect the comfort of others; excessive noise or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.
• The operator reserves the right to deny access to any person who breaches these rules or endangers the safety of other guests.

Management of the Palatinus Grand Hotel

We change bed linen automatically twice a week or we provide clean linen daily upon request. Please inform our Reception staff if you do not require a change of bed linen even in case of a longer stay.

1. Use of the jacuzzi

• The jacuzzi may be used only by hotel guests who have access to the wellness area.
• Guests use the jacuzzi entirely at their own risk.
• The jacuzzi must be used only for its intended purpose.
• The jacuzzi may be used only during official opening hours.
• The recommended maximum duration of each session is 15–20 minutes. After use, a short rest and adequate hydration are recommended.

• by anyone with a condition involving seizures or loss of consciousness, or any condition that may endanger others,

• The use of soap, shampoo, shower gel or any other cosmetic products in the jacuzzi is prohibited.

4. Conduct

• All guests must respect the comfort and physical safety of others.
• Jumping into the jacuzzi, running, making excessive noise or otherwise disturbing other guests is prohibited.
• Radios, speakers, musical instruments or other sound-producing devices may not be used in or around the jacuzzi if they disturb other guests.
• Food, alcohol, glassware and other breakable items are prohibited in the jacuzzi.
• Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes are prohibited in the jacuzzi and its immediate surroundings.

5. Children

• Children under 14 may use the jacuzzi only under the continuous supervision of an adult.
• Parents or accompanying adults are responsible for children’s safety at all times.
